Jurismedia, established in 1997 and with its head office in Montreal area (Quebec, Canada), includes two divisions that are closely linked, as its name implies, by the legal side of its activities.

Its founder, Marc Gelinas, Attorney and MBA, first developed Logicalc back in 1992 which was first used in the legal community. Because of the legal profession's very peculiar interest calculation needs, the software evolved over the years into an extremely flexible tool called Margill (www.margill.com). The software now services a wide variety of industries and its clients are located in over 38 countries worldwide.

The second division operates the Quebec Law Network (www.avocat.qc.ca), the law portal in Quebec that offers a comprehensive solution for individuals and businesses with legal needs.
